Bake and Decorate

Last week, Mo. Jita, a sweet mataji and a good friend of mine ordered a cake for her daughter’s 17th birthday. I was so delighted and came up with a funky design. I’m posting this, hoping that this could be of help to devotees who would like to make a cake for Krishna and for the Vaisnavas. I’m putting the pictures in order on how to put a filling on a cake.If anybody have some questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me, I’ll try my best to answer all your inquiries and be glad to be of service. Hari haribol :o)

Important points:

1. Level the cake as much as possible.

2. Create a dam or circle of icing just inside the edge of the cake (picture #3). This will prevent any filling from oozing out when the next layer of cake is added.

3. Get out from the box and just be creative :o)
