I know this kind of late but still I would like to say “Happy Mother’s Day” to all the sweet mother’s in the universe! I was in the middle of nowhere during this special day and sadly no access to internet 😦 I wasn’t able to call my mom instead I ended up sending here an sms, and I hope she received it.

According to Vedic injunction there are 7 mothers that we need to honor namely: Mother Bhumi (Mother Earth ), the Queen, the wife of the brahmana, the wife of the spiritual master, our birth mother, the cow and the nurse. It’s just so funny because I remembered what Yadunatha Prabhu said about this during his performance at the festival of inspiration ’07 hehehe! Ok so much for that, I’d like to offer my respectful obeisances to all the wonderful mothers/matajis that I’d met and thanking them for all the kindness and guidance and last but not the least, I’d like to thank my mother for all the patience and just for everything. Here’s a simple thing on what my mother said about me:

“My dear, you are like a wild grass!(at first I was adamant to accept, because I was expecting a flower not a grass, hehehe!)Wherever god places you, even in the middle of a desert you will survive ( this time I was pacified :))”Hay…………….Really nothing beats a mother’s love….I love you Mama!

Part 2

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna

Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Hare Rama Hare Rama

Rama Rama Hare Hare

The transcendental sound vibration that I keep on hearing, listening and chanting over and over again especially when I become tempted of this idiosyncratic belief of material delusion not to mention the delusions of grandeur. Losing the taste in chanting Krishna’s name is I think in my opinion is the worst thing that could happen to a devotee (aside from Vaisnava aparada). I admit, I do feel lazy to chant sometimes, but this I can declare with firm conviction that I will never loose the taste of chanting the holy name. So instead of playing my hundreds of mundane mp3’s, I played my guru’s audio japa then. Thank you Krishna, thank you Srila Prabhupada, thank you merciful Vaisnavas and yes, thank you Guru Maharaja for all the patience and guidance!!!

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare , Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare as I continue to listen and follow my guru’s japa….

Yoga Nrsimha

While I was goggling the net for articles about Lord Nrsimhadeva’s, to my surprised I found this documentary. Druva the devotee who is in pursuit of finding Lord Nrsimhadeva’s different manifestations and temples manage to be successful. He’s enthusiastic faith for Lord Nrsimhadeva is indeed remarkable and it made me wish that even just a single drop of his faith I wish I have and honestly it made me also wish that I am in a man’s body (you know what I mean). Dangerous forest, isolated places and all the geographically challenged locations didn’t stop him on his pursuit of true happiness in searching for the Lord’s transcendental embodiment. Jaya Nrsimhadeva!!!
